When we realised that the earth was truly real and not just an image on a laptop or a news item on TV, we asked ourselves what really makes us humans different. Was it the desire for recognition and security or the search for power and belonging? Were they not ultimately the same forces that united us all and nevertheless linked us with the unique belief of a shimmering individualism?
A Zen monk said once: “It all begins when we say I, everything that follows is illusion”. Seven billion individuals on this earth and every day they get up and create the 75 years of their lives. The variety of these impressions is enormous and only travel can satisfy our longing for the content of all these stories that are rewritten every day.
